[WELCOME BACK]

[Theo Yameogo] (0:13 - 0:32)
Welcome back, everyone. I hope you enjoyed the break and are ready to dive into our final two panels of the day. On behalf of the entire EY Metals & Mining team, I want to thank you for joining us.

For those of you who were not able to attend this morning, I'm Theo Yameogo, EY America's Metals & Mining Leader.

[Kaki Giauque] (0:32 - 0:53)
Good morning, or afternoon, I guess. I'm Kaki Giauque, EY America's Metals & Mining Assurance Leader. This afternoon, we have a great lineup of speakers and panelists who will share their insight on operational trends and innovation within the sector.

We'll also be exploring approaches and initiatives focused on responsible metals and minerals.

[Theo Yameogo] (0:54 - 2:07)
Thanks, Kaki. Now before we get started, I wanted to address a few housekeeping items with everyone who was not able to join this morning's session. So in order to receive the CPE credit for today's program, you must attend at a minimum 50 minutes of every content hour through the live webcast link online.

Due to NASBA participation requirements, we are unable to issue CPE for those who are only listening via conference call. So please, if you're on conference call, you need a CPE credit. Make sure your webcast window is active and live.

We will have numerous polling questions throughout the sessions as well. And these are great and interactive ways to hear from you and learn about your position in the industry. Trust me, they're very short, so you don't really have to think that deep.

As a friendly reminder, if you are interested in receiving CPE credit, answering each polling question is required. Please note that the results of the polling question will not be displayed during the forum so that we can get faster and stick to the insights we need to hear. However, we'll review and analyze your input after the event and share the findings with everybody on this call.

[Kaki Giauque] (2:08 - 3:03)
As we transition into our afternoon sessions, we have two key topics lined up. The first is operations, trends, and innovations, redefining operations for new levels of productivity. And second is responsible metals and minerals, embracing responsible stewardship of resources.

As we engage in these discussions, there are a few key learning objectives. The first is discussing continuous improvement approaches. Second is exploring innovative trends.

Then examining collaborative efforts with stakeholders. And finally, discussing strategies for decarbonization. Let's continue our journey through these critical topics and delve into the strategies that will shape the future of our industry.

Now, I'd like to pass it to Afonso Sartorio, EY LATAM Metals and Mining Leader, to kick off a panel on operations, trends, and innovations.
